Biography

Mr. Ajay Kumar Shah is a seasoned academic and professional with a diverse background in management education and research. Currently serving as Assistant Professor for finance at Kathmandu University School of Law. Mr. Shah brings a wealth of experience in curriculum development and academic administration. Concurrently, as a PhD scholar at Kathmandu University School of Management, their research focuses on Merger and Acquisition and its impact on the performance of banking and financial institution of Nepal.

Mr. Shah has worked as Program Coordinator and Director for both undergraduate and graduate programs at Ace Institute of Management from the duration of 2005 to 2020. He has also served as Chef executive officer (CEO) of Nepal Children’s Organization during 2022 to 2023.

Mr. Shah's commitment to academia extends beyond administrative roles, as evidenced by their role as a Visiting Faculty at Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM). With a strong research portfolio, Mr. Shah has authored 12 published journal articles, contributing significantly to the fields of Finance and Management. Their academic journey underscores a dedication to advancing knowledge and nurturing future leaders in management education.
